Does what you wear define you?

My mom used to tell me "You are who you hang out with. You are what you do" But what about "You are what you wear"?

I don’t think what you wear defines who you are, but unfortunately it is what other people define you by. While you can tell a lot about a person by the way they dress, clothes don't tell the whole story of who you are. It doesn't define you, but it is an expression of yourself. It expresses the way you feel about your body and how do you like other people to see you.

Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga are two influential figures who have made great impact in the rapidly-changing music business.

Taylor Swift

Lady Gaga

Swift doesn’t have a sexual image,  and her songs are introspective and confessional, not gimmicky and exhibitionist.  Lady Gaga has her own, special perception of fashion and considers her outfits vital part of her music performances on stage or at her videos.

Two different music and clothing styles. Two different ways of expression.
